CHAPTER I. SEA OF JAPAN AND SEA OF OKHOTSK SHELVES

Volume 2. North Okhotsk shelf (in 3 books with enclosures)

Book 1. Part 1. Lisyansky-Kashevarovsky area

Summary and systematization of geological surveys carried out by various scientific and research institutes during over half a century period of studying of water area of the Sea of Okhotsk as well as interpretation of G&G data realized by DMNG JSC allowed getting image of Lisaynsky-Kashevarovsky basin's geological structure on the modern level of knowledge.

The basis for work performance were the materials of regional SRM seismic surveys of various fold (from 12* to 159*) with the scope of over 26 000 line km acquired from 1978 to 2008.

Besides in the section of sedimentary basin there were pointed out two seismic horizons characterized by explicit dynamic expressiveness and corresponding to the phase boundaries of A-opal - CT and CT- quartz.

Analysis of sedimentary basins thicknesses and reconstruction allowed determination of objective laws of distribution of oil source formations, reservoirs and cap rocks in sedimentary cover.

Multiple analysis of G&G information in basin's sedimentary cover allowed pointing out of Paleocene-Miocene oil and gas systems and evaluating of its emigration potential.

In the result of the analysis carried out the prospective objects were pointed out and recommendations for further G&G activities were given.
